Meet the speakers
Paul Denny-Gouldson
Principal Consultant at Zifo RnD Solutions
Paul has built up extensive experience in a broad range of scientific informatics and data management domains spanning research, development, manufacturing and clinical studies in Pharma/Biotech, FMCG, Chemical, Food & Bev and Oil & Gas organizations.
He has over twenty years of experience with global scientific informatics products, during which time he also founded several companies focused on combining science & technology. He started his career as a Post Doc and subsequently Senior Scientist at Sanofi-Synthelabo Toulouse (now Sanofi) for just under five years, where he managed a multidisciplinary molecular and cell biology group. Paul obtained his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Essex University.
Joschka Buyel
Process and KM Scientist at Bayer Pharmaceuticals
Joschka is responsible for the rollout & integration of QbDVision at Bayer Biotech.
He has previously worked on various late stage projects as Quality-by-Design Expert for Product & Process Characterization, Process Validation and Transfers and is now focusing on standardization and digitalization of information by implementing a taxonomy/ontology on top of various software solutions at Bayer Biotech.
Joschka has worked in various roles at Biological Development & Digitalization and Data Science of Bayer Biotech in the last 4.5 years. He has a PhD in Drug Sciences from Bonn University, Germany and a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Molecular and Applied Biotechnology from the RWTH University Aachen, Germany.
Yash Sabharwal, PhD
President and CEO of QbDVision
Yash Sabharwal is co-founder, President, and CEO, of QbDVision. He is a successful serial entrepreneur. He has over 20 years of experience in the life science industry.
He was previously co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Xeris Pharmaceuticals. It was in this role that he crafted the vision for QbDVision and a digital future for high-performance drug development.
Yash has a B.S. in Optics from the University of Rochester and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona.
