SUMMARY
At Basecamp Basel, we unveiled a bold new approach to catalyzing CMC transformation.
QbDVision board president Michael Stapleton took the stage to introduce Project Artemis: a new industry-wide initiative to accelerate the transition to Digital CMC.
Inspired by NASA’s Artemis program—an ambitious effort to establish a long-term presence on the moon through industry-government partnership—this new venture will take a similar collaborative approach to modernizing CMC. In his featured presentation, Mike shares an advanced look at multiple key features of the initiative:
- How this pre-competitive alliance aims to help build a robust ecosystem for data-driven decision-making, automation, and knowledge-sharing
- The project’s governance structure and how it will engage pharmaceutical companies, technology providers, consulting firms, academic institutions, industry groups, and regulatory agencies
- The one-year launch phase focused on delivering tangible results in areas like tech transfer and AI/ML adoption, followed by a two-year roadmap for scaling up and addressing additional focus areas
